对我来说，这是一次特别的经历，因为这是我第一次来到中国，
This is a special experience for me because it is my first time in China.
也是我第一次亲眼看到这个国家的首都——北京。
It was also the first time I saw the country’s capital, Beijing, with my own eyes.
很多人都说，北京是一座有历史、有文化、也很现代的大城市，
Many people say that Beijing is a big city with history, culture and modernity.
我一直很想亲自看看这里到底是什么样子。
I've always wanted to see for myself what it's like here.
这次旅行，我带着一颗好奇的心，希望能用自己的眼睛去感受北京的美，

我一下飞机，就感受到北京的空气和气氛完全不一样。
As soon as I got off the plane, I felt that the air and atmosphere in Beijing were completely different.
那天的天气很好，阳光明媚，但有一点点冷，风吹在脸上，很清新。
The weather was very good that day, the sun was shining but a little cold, and the wind blowing on my face was very refreshing.
我从机场出来的时候，人很多，大家都说着中文，我听得懂一些简单的词，
When I came out of the airport, there were a lot of people there, and everyone was speaking Chinese. I could understand some simple words.
比如“你好”“欢迎”“请走这边”，这让我觉得很开心，
For example, "hello", "welcome", "please go this way", which makes me very happy.
因为我真的在用中文听懂这个世界了。
Because I really understand the world in Chinese.
机场非常大，我差点迷路，不过工作人员都很友好，有一个姐姐看到我有点迷茫，
The airport is very big and I almost got lost, but the staff were very friendly. One sister saw that I was a little confused,
就用普通话慢慢地告诉我怎么走去地铁站。
He slowly told me in Mandarin how to get to the subway station.
我听得懂一半，也比划了一下，最后成功找到路。
I understood half of it, and I gestured a little, and finally found the way successfully.
那一刻，我真的很感动，觉得学中文真的是一件有用又快乐的事情。
At that moment, I was really touched and felt that learning Chinese was really a useful and happy thing.
从机场坐地铁到市区的路上，我一直看着窗外，北京的高楼和街道慢慢出现在眼前。
On the subway ride from the airport to the city center, I kept looking out the window, and Beijing's skyscrapers and streets slowly appeared before my eyes.
我以前在书上看到的“北京”是古老的，是故宫，是长城，是胡同，
The "Beijing" I had seen in books before was ancient, with the Forbidden City, the Great Wall, and the alleys.
但当我真正来到这里的时候，我发现，北京也很现代，
But when I actually came here, I found that Beijing is also very modern.
有很多高楼大厦、车很多、人也很多，是一座忙碌而有活力的城市。
There are many tall buildings, many cars and many people. It is a busy and vibrant city.
我到达酒店的时候已经是下午三点了，放下行李后我立刻决定出门走一走，
It was already three o'clock in the afternoon when I arrived at the hotel. After putting down my luggage, I immediately decided to go out for a walk.
去感受北京的街头。
Go experience the streets of Beijing.
我去了离酒店不远的一个公园，那里有很多人，有的在慢跑，有的在跳舞，
I went to a park not far from the hotel. There were many people there, some jogging, some dancing.
还有人在练太极。
Some people are practicing Tai Chi.
我走在路上，听到周围人说话的声音，我努力去听懂每一句，有时候听不懂，
I was walking on the street and heard the voices of people around me. I tried hard to understand every word, but sometimes I couldn't understand.
我就会默默在心里复读一遍，觉得这是很好的练习机会。
I would silently repeat it in my mind, thinking that this was a good opportunity to practice.
那天晚上，我找了一家本地的小饭馆吃晚饭。
That night, I found a small local restaurant for dinner.
我鼓起勇气对服务员说：“你好，我想吃北京烤鸭。
I plucked up the courage to say to the waiter, "Hello, I want to eat Peking duck.
”服务员笑了，说：“你中文说得不错！
"The waiter smiled and said, "You speak Chinese well!
”我听了很开心，也更有信心了。
"I was very happy to hear that and I became more confident.
北京烤鸭真的很好吃，皮很脆，肉很嫩，配着酱和葱一起吃，味道特别香。
Peking duck is really delicious, the skin is crispy and the meat is tender. It tastes especially fragrant when eaten with sauce and onions.
我边吃边想：这就是我一直梦想中的北京啊，既好吃，又充满文化味道。
As I ate, I thought: This is the Beijing I have always dreamed of, delicious and full of culture.
我一边吃饭一边在手机上写下今天学到的新词，比如“烤鸭”“好吃”“饭馆”“点菜”，
While eating, I wrote down the new words I learned today on my phone, such as "roast duck", "delicious", "restaurant", and "order dishes".
希望以后还能用上。
I hope I can use it again in the future.
那天晚上，我走回酒店的路上，虽然有点累，但心里特别满足。
That night, as I walked back to the hotel, I felt a little tired, but very satisfied.
我对自己说：“你做得很好，今天是一个有意义的一天。
I said to myself, “You did a great job, today was a meaningful day.
”北京，这座城市，刚刚开始让我认识它的第一面。
"Beijing, this city, has just begun to let me know its first side.
第二天一早，我特地起得很早，准备去参观我一直梦想的地方——天安门广场。
The next morning, I got up early and prepared to visit the place I had always dreamed of - Tiananmen Square.
天还没亮，我就出了门，因为我听说升国旗仪式是在早上很早的时候举行的。
I went out before daybreak because I heard that the flag-raising ceremony would be held very early in the morning.
坐上地铁，我一路上都很兴奋，不停地看着路线图，生怕坐错站。
When I got on the subway, I was very excited the whole way. I kept looking at the route map, afraid of getting on the wrong stop.
到了天安门站，一出地铁口，我就被眼前的景象震撼了。
When I arrived at Tiananmen Station and stepped out of the subway exit, I was shocked by the scene in front of me.
广场非常大，比我想象的还要宽阔，天安门城楼高大庄严，
The square is very large, wider than I imagined, and the Tiananmen Gate Tower is tall and majestic.
红色的墙和黄色的瓦在早晨的阳光下显得特别美。
The red walls and yellow tiles look particularly beautiful in the morning sun.
我跟着人群慢慢走到升旗的位置，大家都安静地站着，等着那一刻的到来。
I followed the crowd and slowly walked to the flag-raising position. Everyone stood quietly, waiting for that moment to come.
当国旗在庄严的国歌中缓缓升起时，我的心也一起激动起来。
As the national flag slowly rose to the solemn national anthem, my heart also became excited.
虽然我不是中国人，但站在那里，和这么多中国人一起看升旗，
Although I am not Chinese, standing there and watching the flag-raising ceremony with so many Chinese people,
我感觉自己也成了这个特别时刻的一部分。
I felt like I was part of this special moment.
这种感觉很难用语言表达，但我真的被感动了。
It's hard to express this feeling in words, but I was really moved.
我发现，旅行不仅仅是看风景，更是体验一种文化，一种情感。
I found that traveling is not just about seeing the scenery, but also about experiencing a culture and an emotion.
升旗结束后，我在广场上走了一会儿，看到很多游客在拍照，也有小朋友在跑来跑去玩耍。
After the flag-raising ceremony, I walked around the square for a while and saw many tourists taking photos and children running around and playing.
一个小女孩看到我，就笑着对我说：“你好！
A little girl saw me and smiled and said to me, "Hello!
”我也开心地说：“你好！
"I also said happily: "Hello!
”她妈妈也笑了，对我说：“欢迎你来北京。
"Her mother also smiled and said to me, "Welcome to Beijing.
”这让我觉得，北京人真的很友好，让我完全不觉得自己是个“外人”。
"This made me feel that Beijingers are really friendly and I didn't feel like an "outsider" at all.
接着，我走去故宫。
Next, I went to the Forbidden City.
那天人很多，买票也要排队。
There were a lot of people that day and we had to queue up to buy tickets.
我在网上提前买好了票，用手机扫码进门，非常方便。
I bought the ticket online in advance and used my phone to scan the QR code to enter, which was very convenient.
故宫真的非常大，每一座宫殿都让我感到惊讶。
The Forbidden City is really huge and every palace surprises me.
我边走边听语音导览，一边看、一边学到很多中文的词汇，
I listened to the audio guide while walking, and learned a lot of Chinese vocabulary while watching.
比如“皇帝”“皇后”“太和殿”。
For example, "Emperor", "Empress", and "Hall of Supreme Harmony".
我看到很多汉字，也试着念出来，虽然不全认识，但有些字我已经学过了，能认出几个，
I saw a lot of Chinese characters and tried to read them out. Although I didn't know all of them, I had already learned some of them and could recognize a few.
像“门”“大”“中”，我觉得自己进步了一点点。
Like "门", "大" and "中", I feel that I have made a little progress.
走在故宫里，我不知不觉地想象以前的皇帝是怎么生活的，那些古老的建筑，
Walking in the Forbidden City, I could not help but imagine how the emperors lived before. Those ancient buildings,
那些红墙金瓦，让我仿佛走进了历史课本中的画面。
Those red walls and golden tiles made me feel like I was walking into a scene in a history textbook.
我最喜欢的是站在高高的城墙上，远远地望出去，看到整片北京城。
My favorite thing is standing on the high city wall, looking out into the distance and seeing the entire city of Beijing.
风吹过来，很冷，但我一点也不想离开。
The wind was blowing and it was cold, but I didn't want to leave at all.
那一刻，我觉得自己真的爱上了这座城市。
At that moment, I felt that I really fell in love with this city.
北京不只是热闹和现代，它也有沉静和庄严的一面。
Beijing is not only bustling and modern, it also has a quiet and solemn side.
我坐在故宫角楼边的长椅上，喝了一口热水，心里想着：明天，我还想去长城看看。
I sat on a bench next to the corner tower of the Forbidden City, took a sip of hot water, and thought to myself: Tomorrow, I want to go to the Great Wall again.
北京，还有很多地方在等着我去发现。
Beijing, there are still many places waiting for me to discover.
第三天，我安排了一整天去长城。
On the third day, I planned a whole day to visit the Great Wall.
我选择了最有名的八达岭长城，从市区出发坐高铁，大概一个小时左右就到了。
I chose the most famous Badaling Great Wall. It took about an hour to get there by high-speed rail from the city.
一路上风景渐渐变得不一样，高楼变少，山越来越多，心情也越来越激动。
The scenery along the way gradually changed. There were fewer tall buildings and more mountains, and my mood became more and more excited.
我小时候在课本上就看到过“不到长城非好汉”这句话，所以这次来到北京，
When I was a kid, I read the saying “He who has not been to the Great Wall is not a true man” in my textbooks. So when I came to Beijing this time,
长城绝对是我最期待的地方。
The Great Wall is definitely the place I am most looking forward to.
到了之后，我站在长城脚下，仰头望着一段段蜿蜒在山上的城墙，感觉自己真的太渺小了。
After arriving, I stood at the foot of the Great Wall, looked up at the sections of wall winding up the mountain, and felt so insignificant.
那是一种震撼的感觉，就像历史一下子出现在你眼前。
It was a shocking feeling, as if history suddenly appeared before your eyes.
我开始慢慢往上爬，一开始还觉得没什么，但爬到一半就开始觉得累了。
I started to climb up slowly. At first it didn't seem like a big deal, but halfway up I started to feel tired.
台阶很高，而且有些地方很陡，风也很大。
The steps are high and steep in places and the wind is strong.
不过每次停下来休息，我都会回头看看走过的路，看看远处的山和城墙，
But every time I stopped to rest, I would look back at the road I had walked, at the mountains and city walls in the distance.
觉得一切都很值得。
I feel it's all worth it.
有一次我坐在一块大石头上喝水，旁边一位中国叔叔看我气喘吁吁地笑着问：“你还好吗？
One time I was sitting on a big rock drinking water, and a Chinese uncle next to me saw me panting and smiled and asked, "Are you okay?
”我用中文回答：“我还可以，但是有点累。
”I replied in Chinese: “I’m okay, but a little tired.
”他听了哈哈大笑，说：“你中文不错！
"He laughed and said, "Your Chinese is good!
”这让我很开心，也让我有了继续爬的动力。
” This made me very happy and gave me the motivation to keep climbing.
一路上，我碰到很多游客，大家都在拍照。
Along the way, I met many tourists, and everyone was taking pictures.
我也让别人帮我拍了一张站在长城上的照片，我对自己说：“你真的来了，你做到了！
I also asked someone to take a photo of me standing on the Great Wall, and I said to myself, “You really came here, you did it!
”我还拍了很多视频，准备回去给家人看，也给朋友推荐这里。
"I also took a lot of videos and planned to show them to my family and recommend this place to my friends.
长城真的很长，一眼望不到头，我边走边想象，古代的士兵怎么在这里守边，
The Great Wall is really long, and I can't see the end at a glance. As I walked, I imagined how the ancient soldiers guarded the border here.
每天的生活会不会很艰难？
Will daily life be difficult?
风吹在脸上很冷，但我觉得特别自由，特别清醒，仿佛脑子里的烦恼都被风吹走了。
The wind was cold on my face, but I felt very free and clear-headed, as if all the worries in my mind had been blown away by the wind.
中午的时候我在山下的小饭馆吃了一碗热腾腾的面条，那碗面也许不是最好吃的，
At noon, I ate a bowl of hot noodles at a small restaurant at the foot of the mountain. That bowl of noodles may not be the most delicious.
但在那个时候、那个地方，它就是最温暖的一顿饭。
But at that time and in that place, it was the warmest meal.
吃完之后我又走了一会儿，在夕阳快落下的时候，才依依不舍地回到车站，坐车回市区。
After eating, I walked for a while, and when the sun was about to set, I reluctantly returned to the station and took a bus back to the city.
那天晚上回到酒店，我的腿真的很酸，但我心里特别满足。
When I returned to the hotel that night, my legs were really sore, but I felt very satisfied.
我打开手机相册，一张张照片翻着看，忍不住笑了。
I opened the photo album on my phone, flipped through the photos one by one, and couldn't help laughing.
我给自己写了一句话：“今天我不是游客，我是个探险家。
I wrote myself a sentence: "Today I am not a tourist, I am an explorer.
”长城让我更了解中国，也让我更了解自己。
"The Great Wall has helped me understand China better, and it has also helped me understand myself better.
这趟旅程越来越有意义了。
This journey is becoming more and more meaningful.
旅行的第四天，我决定放慢脚步，去感受一下北京的日常生活，
On the fourth day of my trip, I decided to slow down and experience the daily life in Beijing.
而不是只去那些著名的旅游景点。
Instead of just going to those famous tourist attractions.
我想知道，北京人在平常的日子里都做些什么，他们怎么生活，怎么工作，怎么放松。
I want to know what Beijingers do on ordinary days, how they live, how they work, and how they relax.
我起得不早，吃了酒店的早餐后，拿着地图在附近找了一家胡同咖啡馆，
I didn't get up early, and after having breakfast at the hotel, I took a map and looked for a Hutong cafe nearby.
想要坐下来看看人来人往，听听街头的声音。
I want to sit down and watch the people coming and going and listen to the sounds of the street.
那是一条安静的胡同，两边是低矮的灰色老房子，中间铺着石板路，
It was a quiet alley with low grey old houses on both sides and a cobblestone road in the middle.
偶尔有骑自行车的叔叔或推着小车的阿姨经过，每个人看起来都很忙，但又不慌张。
Occasionally an uncle riding a bicycle or an aunt pushing a cart passes by, and everyone looks busy but not hurried.
我点了一杯拿铁，坐在窗边，看着街上的生活缓缓流动。
I ordered a latte, sat by the window, and watched life on the street slowly flow by.
咖啡馆里有几位年轻人正在用电脑工作，空气里飘着咖啡香和轻柔的音乐。
There were several young people working on computers in the cafe, and the air was filled with the aroma of coffee and soft music.
我突然觉得，北京虽然是一个快节奏的大城市，但它也有这样慢下来的角落。
I suddenly felt that although Beijing is a fast-paced big city, it also has corners like this where you can slow down.
在这里，我听到很多人用北京话聊天，声音里带着一种特别的“儿化音”，
Here, I heard many people chatting in Beijing dialect, with a special "erhua" sound in their voices.
比如“这儿”“那儿”“一会儿”，听起来有点不太一样，但很有意思。
For example, "here", "there", and "a while" sound a little different, but very interesting.
我也试着模仿，虽然发得不太准，但觉得特别有趣。
I also tried to imitate it. Although my pronunciation was not very accurate, I found it very interesting.
中午我去了一个本地人常去的菜市场，不是很大，但非常热闹。
At noon, I went to a vegetable market frequented by locals. It was not very big, but very lively.
卖水果的阿姨热情地招呼我：“苹果要不要尝一下？
The fruit seller greeted me warmly: "Would you like to try some apples?

下午我去了一个叫南锣鼓巷的地方，那是一条非常有特色的老街，

有很多小店、文创商品和老北京的小吃。
There are many small shops, cultural and creative products and old Beijing snacks.

There I bought a small notebook with the words "I love Beijing" written on it, intending to use it to record every detail of this trip.
还有一家卖明信片的小店，我挑了一张画着天安门的卡片，写上几句中文：“我在北京，
There was also a small shop selling postcards. I picked out a card with a picture of Tiananmen Square and wrote a few words in Chinese: "I am in Beijing,
很开心。

那天晚上，我没有去很远的地方，而是在酒店附近的一个小广场坐了很久。
That night, I didn't go far, but sat for a long time in a small square near the hotel.
夜色慢慢降临，灯光一点一点亮起来，小孩在跑，大人散步，我坐在长椅上，心里很安静。
Night slowly falls, lights come on little by little, children are running, adults are taking a walk, and I sit on a bench, feeling very peaceful.
我觉得，北京不再只是地图上的一个名字，它已经变成了我心里的一个画面，
I feel that Beijing is no longer just a name on the map, it has become a picture in my heart.
有味道、有声音、有回忆。
There are smells, sounds and memories.
这种感觉，是我在旅行前完全想象不到的。
This feeling was something I could never have imagined before the trip.
旅行的最后一天，我起得特别早，走到窗前，看着北京的天空慢慢变亮，
On the last day of the trip, I woke up very early, walked to the window, and watched the sky in Beijing gradually brighten.
心里有一点点不舍。
I feel a little reluctant.
时间过得太快了，好像刚刚才到这里，现在却已经要准备离开。
Time passed so quickly, it seemed like I had just arrived here, but now I was already preparing to leave.
我在房间里收拾行李的时候，
While I was packing my luggage in my room,
脑子里一直在回忆这几天发生的每一件事：从第一次走出机场时的紧张，
I kept recalling everything that happened in the past few days: from the nervousness when I first walked out of the airport,
到在天安门广场看升旗时的激动，从在长城上流汗爬楼梯的坚持，
From the excitement of watching the flag-raising ceremony at Tiananmen Square, to the perseverance of climbing the stairs at the Great Wall,
到在胡同咖啡馆静静喝咖啡的平静，这一切都变成了我珍贵的记忆。
From the tranquility of quietly drinking coffee in a hutong cafe, all of this has become my precious memory.
我把在故宫买的小纪念品、小吃店的发票、超市的购物袋，全都小心地放进行李箱里，
I carefully put the small souvenirs I bought at the Forbidden City, the receipts from the snack bar, and the shopping bags from the supermarket into my suitcase.
因为它们都是属于这段旅程的一部分。
Because they are all part of this journey.
离开酒店前，我特地走到前台，对工作人员说：“谢谢你们，这几天我住得很开心。
Before leaving the hotel, I went to the front desk and said to the staff, "Thank you, I enjoyed my stay here for the past few days.
”那位工作人员笑着说：“不客气，欢迎你下次再来北京。
"The staff member smiled and said, "You're welcome. You're welcome to come to Beijing again next time.
”她说得很慢，好像是故意让我能听懂，我点点头，心里暖暖的。
"She spoke slowly, as if she wanted me to understand her. I nodded, feeling warm in my heart.
我知道，虽然我的中文还不够好，但我已经能用它去表达自己的心情，去和人沟通，
I know that although my Chinese is not good enough, I can use it to express my feelings and communicate with others.
这是我以前不敢想象的事。
This is something I never dared to imagine before.
走出酒店的那一刻，我深深吸了一口北京的早晨空气，有点冷，但特别清新。
The moment I walked out of the hotel, I took a deep breath of Beijing's morning air. It was a little cold, but very fresh.
我拖着行李，走过熟悉的街口，看到早餐店已经开门，有人排队买豆浆和包子，
I dragged my luggage and walked through the familiar street corner. I saw that the breakfast shop was already open and people were queuing up to buy soy milk and buns.
街上的声音、味道、气氛，让我觉得自己并不是一个匆匆路过的游客，
The sounds, smells, and atmosphere of the street made me feel like I was not just a tourist passing by.
而是这座城市的一小部分。
It's a small part of the city.
在去机场的路上，我坐在车里看着窗外的高楼一点点向后退，心里默默地和北京说再见。
On the way to the airport, I sat in the car and watched the tall buildings outside the window recede little by little, and silently said goodbye to Beijing in my heart.
我想，这次旅行虽然只有短短几天，但它给了我很多东西。
I think, although this trip was only a few days, it gave me a lot.
它让我看到一个真实的中国，也让我更了解自己。
It allowed me to see a real China and also helped me understand myself better.
我发现，其实出发并不需要太多理由，只要你愿意迈出第一步，世界就会慢慢变得不一样。
I found that you don’t need too many reasons to start. As long as you are willing to take the first step, the world will slowly become different.
而语言，是我们打开世界的一把钥匙。
And language is the key that opens our world.
虽然我还不能说得很流利，
Although I can't speak fluently yet,
但每一句“你好”“谢谢”“我想去……”都让我离别人更近一点，离这座城市更近一点。
But every “hello”, “thank you”, “I want to go…” brings me closer to others and closer to this city.
我在机场候机的时候，又拿出那本“我爱北京”的小本子，翻开前几页，
While I was waiting for my flight at the airport, I took out the little booklet "I Love Beijing" and flipped to the first few pages.
看到自己写下的第一个句子：“我去北京。
I saw the first sentence I wrote: "I'm going to Beijing.
”当时的我只是想尝试一次旅行，但现在的我，已经走过了天安门、故宫、长城，
"At that time, I just wanted to try a trip, but now I have been to Tiananmen Square, the Forbidden City, and the Great Wall.
也走进了人们的生活，听到了真实的声音。
We also entered people's lives and heard real voices.

"虽然旅行已经结束，但那些画面、声音、味道，依然清晰地留在我的脑海里。
Although the trip is over, the images, sounds and smells are still clearly visible in my mind.
我打开手机，
I turned on my phone.
看着相册里一张张照片：在天安门前站立的人群、在长城上迎风微笑的自己、在咖啡馆窗边望着胡同的下午，
Looking at the photos in the album: the crowd standing in front of Tiananmen Square, myself smiling in the wind on the Great Wall, the afternoon looking at the alley from the window of a cafe,
还有那些街头巷尾真实的表情。
And those real expressions on the streets.
每一张照片后面，都有一个故事，都有一段用中文沟通、尝试、理解的过程。
Behind every photo, there is a story, and a process of communicating, trying and understanding in Chinese.
虽然有时候我说得不够标准、听不太明白，但每一个回应的笑容、每一次点头和鼓励，
Although sometimes I didn’t speak standard enough and couldn’t understand you, every smile, nod and encouragement in response was very meaningful.
都让我更加喜欢这门语言，也更加热爱这座城市。
All of these made me like this language even more, and I love this city even more.
朋友们看到我拍的照片、听我讲旅行的故事，都很惊讶我竟然敢一个人去北京，
When my friends saw the photos I took and heard my travel stories, they were surprised that I dared to go to Beijing alone.

It not only allows me to see the scenery, but also allows me to learn to be independent, learn to listen, and learn to speak my heart in Chinese.

I climbed up the Great Wall step by step, sweating, panting, and persisting in the wind, just to stand at the top and take a look at China's history;
我在胡同里喝咖啡，在菜市场里用简单的中文买水果，
I drank coffee in the alleys and bought fruit in the market using simple Chinese.
在热闹的街头看北京人平凡却充满活力的生活，这一切让我不再只是一个观光客，
Seeing the ordinary but vibrant lives of Beijingers on the bustling streets made me more than just a tourist.
而像是一位真正的学习者，认真地体验、真诚地接触、努力地理解。
But like a real learner, experience it seriously, approach it sincerely, and try hard to understand it.
回想起第一天在机场紧张地问路，到最后一天在酒店前台自信地说“谢谢”，
Recalling the first day when I nervously asked for directions at the airport, and the last day when I confidently said "thank you" at the hotel front desk,
我看到了自己的改变。
I saw a change in myself.
